This Manuka honey with a rating of MGO400+ is the first Western Australian origin Manuka honey ever harvested and offered for sale that we can find. Western Australia is one of only two places in the world that has a happy, and healthy bee population that is free from disease. Happy and healthy bee's make pure and stronger honey as there is no need for heat treatment, which kills off natural enzymes.
This dark medicinal rated honey delivers a rich, earth flavour, with hints of caramel sweetness. It is a natural source of vitamins, enzymes and antioxidants.

Total Activity is the measurement of the honey's anti-microbial quality, it's anti-microbial strength in killing bacteria. Any honey with a TA rating higher than 10+ has beneficial antimicrobial properties. The larger the TA number, the stronger the antimicrobial effect level of the honey.
